The day I turned 27 I walked through golden fields smelling fresh herbs from a garden picked by farmers, I heard the rustle
of dead leaves swept by early september winds, we tried to tie some of those leaves back onto the trees and wished they would
stay there forever, I tasted some of the best garlic cloves I’ve ever had, listened to messages being shouted by performers
at Nuit Blanche and sat amongst friends in a chilly night looking at lights and people and silence.

A commissioned shoot of Alderman of Ward 9, Gian-Carlo Carra for Spacing Magazine‘s 2nd National issue.

Not only did I get a wonderful tour of Inglewood while doing the photo shoot but I also got to chat a bit with him over coffee. It’s great to see
someone so committed to the cultural growth of their city and their community.

I was commissioned by Spacing Magazine to shoot Naheed Nenshi, Mayor of the City of Calgary.

The photos were used in their first ever National Issue to illustrate an article for a National Transit Strategy. The magazine was distributed
throughout the country in a promotional tour called The Road Show. (view photos below)
